چکیده
The sheath rot rice disease is known to be associated Pseudomonas fuscovaginae and a recent study on the symptomatic of revealed that this bacterial pathogen abundant in highland ecology cultivation Burundi. From asymptomatic samples rice, collection isolates culturable microbiome have been carried out. A comparison between total was made. Phenotypic assays vitro were performed after identification at genus level each isolate by sequencing 16S RNA gene. belonging Alcaligenes has antibacterial activity against P. conditions. Key words: fuscovaginae, rot, microbiome, species.

Complete genome of Pseudomonas chlororaphis strain UFB2, a soil bacterium with antibacterial activity against bacterial canker pathogen of tomato
Strain UFB2 was isolated from a soybean field soil in Mississippi and identified as a member of Pseudomonas chlororaphis. Strain UFB2 has a broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity against common soil-borne pathogens. Plate assays showed that strain UFB2 was especially efficient in inhibiting the growth of Clavibacter michiganensis 1-07, the causal agent of the devastating bacterial canker of toma...
متن کاملEffect of an Alcaligenes faecalis inoculant strain on bacterial communities in flooded soil microcosms planted with rice seedlings
The fate and impact of Alcaligenes faecalis strain A1501R, a rifampicin-resistant derivative of a rice inoculant strain, were studied in flooded silt loam microcosms planted with rice seedlings. Selective plating revealed that strain A1501R survived at high, initially stable and later slowly declining population sizes (108–106 CFU per gram of dry soil), for 60 days. Inoculant survival in the ri...
